Last weeks Lotto took place in The Loch & Quay,  no jackpot winner & 2 match three winners. Numbers were, 04 - 06 - 12 - 28 . Next weeks draw takes place in The Wexford Arms at 9.15pm.

Last Saturday  the St John's Volunteers hosted their night of Strictly Club Dancing. Eight couples took to the stage hoping for a place in the Grand final. A packed Whites hotel saw the couples dancing twice in their chosen type of dance. The couples danced a veritiy of dance styles everything from cha chas to tango to rock n roll. All danced to cheers and roars from the audiance and got numerous standing ovations. The judges praised all the dancers for their acts and had great words of encourgment for them. On behalf of the organising committee and entire club we thanks all the dancers and all who helped out to make the show a success. The Grand final will be held on the 9th Nov in Whites Hotel with three couples from the Vols, Glynn/Barntown and the Shels taking to the stage. Tickets now on sale.

On behalf of all in the Volunteers we extend our deepest sympathies to the Gaynor family of Gaynors pub on the sad passing of Ger. Ger was an active member of the Vols serving for years on the club committees, may he rest in peace.
