Last weeks Lotto took place in The Simons Place,  no jackpot winner & one match three winner. Numbers were 01 - 09 - 16 - 23 . Next weeks draw takes place in The Loch & Quay  at 9.15pm.

Our club gear shop is now open in Paric Charman please contact committee and club members for opening times.

Our annual presentation has been arranged for Sat 30th Nov in The Riverbank House Hotel at 8pm. Cost will be 10euro paid on the night (per family) Please bring along grandparents and other family members. All children under18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please come along on the night to see the achievements of our underage boys & girls again this year and collecting their medals.

Our Annual General Meeting  of the St. Johns Volunteers will be in Whites Hotel on Friday 6th Dec at 7.30pm. For further info please contact club secretary.

On behalf of all in the Vols we extend our deepest sympathies to Anthony Neville and his Family on the sad passing of his mother Catherine, who passed away last weekend. May she rest in peace.

UNDER 5s 6s 7s   Fun and games in hurling and football starts back on Friday evening in St.Peters College at 6pm. All welcome

Last weeks Lotto took place in The Wexford Arms,  no jackpot winner & no match three winners. Numbers were,05 - 14 - 122. Next weeks draw takes place in Simon Place  at 9.15pm.

Last Saturday night saw the final of our Strictly Club Dancing 2013. A packed house set the scene for a fantastic show. Three couples from The Shelmilars Glynn/Barntown and he Volunteers took to the stage to give their preformances. After great acts the winners of the final were Glynn/Barntown. On behalf of all in the Vols and Strictly Club Dancing committee we congratulate Glynn/Barntown. We all so thank all involved on each of the nights who gave great time to putting the show together, the dancers who worked tirdlessly and the public for the hugh support.

Last weeks Lotto took place in Gaynors bar,  no jackpot winner & 4 match three winners. Numbers were, 02 - 12 - 16 - 24. Next weeks draw takes place in Jim McGees  at 9.15pm.

This coming Saturday night in Whites hotel the St Johns Volunteers in conjunction with The Shelimars & Glynn/Barntown will host the grand final of Strictly Club Dancing, Three couples from each club will take to the floor and dancing in the hope of winning the title. Many hours of practice have been spent by all the couples ahead of Saturday nights show. tickets for the show can be bought from any committee member.

On Saturday last our adult footballers played a friendly match with the adult footballers from Kilrossanty, Co. Waterford a team managed by the legendary Jimmy Maher who scored an impressive point from full-back. The Vols still won! Thank you to all who travelled up from Waterford to Paric Charman for the game. Great day was had by all who attended.
