‘GAA for Dads & Lads’ is a social football programme for those keen to enjoy Gaelic Games outside the traditional competitive structures of the GAA.
For those aged 40ish and older the emphasis is on the social interaction and enjoyment that only team sports can provide. The games allow incidental contact only, so skills are to the fore over physicality. It offers games opportunities for retired players, lapsed players looking to reconnect with playing Gaelic games and those who never played and just want to give it a go.
Our 'GAA for Dads & Lads' currently meets in Presentation Secondary School every Thursday evening from 7:30pm - 8:30pm.
Please contact Jim McCarthy (087 7719864) if you would like to join us or want further information.
